Stainless Steel
The stainless steel industry is one of the mainstays of the world-economy. Annually, around 15 million tonnes of stainless steel are produced world-wide. This quantity is expected to grow bigger and bigger, since stainless steel has a great potential for the future: first of all, stainless steel can be used for a wide range of purposes, from transporting-/storage devices for acids to kitchen utensils, from building constructions to food-processing equipment. Secondly, stainless steel can be fully recycled without creating by-products, which are environmentally unfriendly.
In the production of stainless steel, two types of raw materials are used:
Primary raw materials:
· Nickel
· Chrome
· Iron
· Molybdenum
Secondary raw materials:
· Stainless steel scrap
The reclaimed scrap is collected by a huge number of scrap-dealers, who are not in business with stainless steel producers. These reclaimed materials move through the scarp market with these scrap-dealers, like Bir Polat for example, who era doing business with one or more big scrap-dealers. At this point, the reclaimed scrap is sold to a stainless steel producer and used as secondary raw material in the production of new stainless steel.
Our company take an important place to collect the following kind of scrap, which are used as an secondary raw materials for product stainless steel.
Mixed Non Magnetic Stainless Steel Scrap
Mixed Non-Magnetic Stainless Steel Scrap shall consist of assorted Non-Magnetic stainless steel solids.
